Capturing a world we cannot see

MARBLEHEAD – From Marblehead’s Abbot Hall and Old Burial Hill to Salem’s Derby Street Wharf and Winter Island, they’re all treasures admired by North Shore residents.We’ve peered over them as subjects in paintings and images hundreds of times over, but perhaps not in the way Jim Bostick photographs them.That’s because the Salem photographer shoots them in infrared, a spectrum of light with a longer wavelength than human eyesight can see.
